Gephex 0.4.2 Release Notes

On January 26th, 2005, the Gephex Project released Gephex 0.4.2

Gephex is a modular real-time video effect framework. 0.4.2 is a bugfix and stabilization release of the 0.4 branch. It also introduces minor feature enhancements.

Here is a list of the most important changes since 0.4.1:
  • support for frei0r plugins
  • new modules:
    • centermodule
    • pongmodule
    • timesourcemodule (useful for frei0r effects)
    • signalplotmodule (to debug the signalgenerator)
  • updated modules:
    • signal generator (refactored, support for negative amplitudes)
    • overlay module (new smooth overlay mode thanks to pierre)
    • capture module (v4l2 support)
    • ifs module (speedup and interface cleanup)
    • image output (gl compile fix)
    • signal generator (support for negative amplitudes)
  • graph_path, module_path, and frei0r_path now can be a list of directories each of which is scanned recursively
  • bug fixes ( #67, #68, #69, #70, #71, #72, #74 #75 #77 )
